Compound medications according to USP 797 regulations. Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP 797 regulations. Perform sterile compounding of hazardous medications according to USP 800 regulations. Assist with sterile compounding competencies. Complete all Simplifi activities and inspections. Prepare, deliver, and collect all pharmacy items throughout the facility. Restock IV room supplies. Restock automated dispensing cabinets. Perform floor checks, stock checks, and assigned unit reviews. Prepackage medications. Answer the telephone and assist callers with inquiries that do not require the professional judgment of a Pharmacist. Assist customers at the service window. Complete mandatory education and training to maintain competencies, requirements, certification, and/or licensure. Perform other duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree or completion of college coursework. Compound Sterile Preparation (CPhT-CSP) certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Experience in a hospital inpatient pharmacy. Experience in a USP 797-compliant sterile products compounding room. Experience with Epic electronic health record or similar programs. Understanding of medical terminology and calculations.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent requiredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
