Inside Sales Representative

Pay Range: $16.90 per hour plus a monthly commission target of $3,500 per month

unWired is searching for a professional Inside Sales Representative to join our Inside Sales team. This role is responsible for converting inbound inquiries and generating new business through outbound prospecting.  

Essential Duties:

• Respond promptly to inbound inquiries received through phone and digital channels.
• Conduct consistent, high-volume outbound calling on company-provided leads, prior inquiries, serviceable-location lists, marketing responses, and approved campaigns.
• Guide qualified prospects through discovery, recommendation, objection resolution, commitment, installation coordination, and post-sale validation.
• Confidently ask for the sale and use approved closing techniques when the solution meets the customer's needs.
• Begin a follow-up cadence when a sale does not close on the first interaction and maintain a specific next action for every active opportunity.
• Own assigned opportunities until sold, transferred with approval, or closed, with a clear disposition; re-engage stalled prospects when a valid reason to reconnect exists.
• Coordinate with Sales Leadership and internal teams to resolve sales obstacles; escalate serviceability, pricing, installation, billing, or customer concerns while maintaining communication ownership through resolution or approved handoff.
• Represent unWired Broadband professionally, ethically, and accurately in every customer and internal interaction.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or demonstrated communication and mathematical proficiency.
• One or more years of inside sales, telesales, call-center sales, business development, telecommunications, or comparable customer-facing experience preferred.
• Prior success with inbound conversion, outbound calling, follow-up cadences, CRM use, or quota attainment preferred.
• Experience interacting with customers via phone, e-mail, text, and live chat and the ability to refocus from one task to another quickly and efficiently. 
• Strong phone presence and professional written communication across digital channels.
• Working knowledge of prospecting, discovery, qualification, value positioning, objection handling, follow-up, negotiation, and closing techniques.
• Ability to conduct frequent outbound calls, build rapport quickly, handle rejection, and prospect consistently.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM, calling and messaging platforms, email tools, quoting resources, and standard productivity software.
• Acute attention to detail, specifically entering and maintaining a very high level of data integrity based on information gathered during customer interactions.
